Youth President

Welcome to www.wdyouth.org, the official website of the Western District Youth Division.

We live in a society were people are accustomed to wearing many hats. For example, you may be a chronic shopper, a video game enthusiast, a high school student, a W.A.Y. Choir member, a Bible quizzer, and/or a cashier at In N Out among many other things. These are all roles that can be shed at one time or another. They are hats that are temporarily worn and can be taken off when necessary.

It’s nice to remove these proverbial hats once in a while. When you are tired from work or have been studying until 3:00 am for a midterm, it is ok to shed those roles in your lives so you can relax. However, there is one role you cannot take a break from, have time off from, or clock out of. That role or hat, if you will, is that of being an Apostolic young person. Being Apostolic is not something you do like a job, it is something you are. You cannot stop being Apostolic at 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Being Apostolic is not something you cease to be on off nights from church. You are meant to be Always Apostolic, 24 hours a day, 07 days week, and 365 days a year.

This is the goal of the Western District Youth Division for 2008, to inspire you to be an Apostolic young person 24.07.365. We look forward to seeing you at one of our events this year. Our prayer is that you will experience a deeper relationship with God in 2008.

 24.07.365,
