Since its inception in 2003, the mission of the WAY (Western Apostolic Youth) Choir has been to provide a district-level activity that would challenge students and offer rewards of achievement, recognition, and Apostolic ministry. Throughout the years, WAY Choir has helped develop many young people and young adults by providing exposure to various ministry opportunities such as singing, music, directing, leading, and preaching. At the beginning it was decided that one of the ultimate goals of this ministry would be to produce a live recording that featured our own young Apostolic musicians, singers, and songwriters. What began as a dream and goal in 2003, became a reality in 2016.
On October 14, 2016, current WAY Choir members and alumni gathered to record their very first live project at East Valley Pentecostal Church in the Northern California Bay Area. Under the direction of Luis Lenzi, songs were compiled, rehearsals scheduled, and history made.
It is our prayer that through this project, lives are changed by the power of the Holy Ghost and the Gospel continues to be spread across the world through our message of Apostolic doctrine!
